Thanks for stopping by!
I'm Sebastian, a senior at Marist University, set to graduate in the spring of 2025, studying graphic design and photography. Currently located in San Francisco, California, my hobbies include snowboarding, playing golf, exploring new eats, and spending time with my family and friends.
College has been a ride of exploration, but it didn't take long to realize that graphic design is the perfect playground to merge my love for tech and the arts.
Here's a twist: I was born in Singapore and spent my early years growing up in Thailand. That experience shaped my worldview and gave me a profound appreciation for world cultures, influencing my design process by prioritizing inclusivity and understanding varied user experiences.
Experience
My work experience has provided me with a strong foundation in graphic design, particularly in the hospitality and branding sectors. I've successfully translated client visions into compelling visual identities and marketing materials. I've collaborated with several restaurants, including La Méditerranée, an award-winning Mediterranean restaurant based in San Francisco, CA, and Sundaze Smash Burgers, a family-owned joint voted one of the best burger joints in the Hudson Valley.
I've contributed to menu redesign and promotional materials, where I developed and executed a targeted advertising campaign through flyers, posters, and T-shirt designs. Additionally, driven by a passion for Southeast Asian cuisine, my senior thesis project, Crying Thaiger, involved a comprehensive brand development, encompassing logo, packaging, and poster mockups, culminating in a successful showing at the 2024 Senior Thesis Exhibition.
